Perangsang Templer Golf Club

The Perangsang Templer Golf Club is one of the many golfing destinations located within the state of Selangor. Known in short as the PTCG, it was officiated by the then Menteri Besar of the state in 1990 where its 18-hole championship course was officially opened 2 years later by the Sultan of Selangor, who is the patron of the club as well.

Located about 30 minutes away from the city centre of Kuala Lumpur, PTGC offers an ideal golfing location which is easily accessible through the Kuala Lumpur-Rawang road. This is where golfers are able to indulge in a game of golf without having to make major arrangements especially if they are staying in the Klang Valley.

The course architect of PTGC is Instangreen Berhad which developed the land and came up with the 18-hole course ranging to 6,227 meters. The par-72 golf course has 3 distinctive features namely woodlands, lakes and dunes. As such, the golfer will be able to enjoy all types of gameplay trying to maneuver past all the challenges that they come with.

The Bermuda Tifdwarf hybrid grass is used on the greens and the tee-boxes while the fairways here are covered with the popular Bermuda Cocer grass. As the name implies there is the loop that covers a lot of trees and natural plants while the lakes loop will involve ponds, water Hazards and bunkers. Apart from that, there are many other obstacles like hilly slopes, sand traps and many more which will bring out the best from even the most experienced golfer.
